Riverchase Tried-N-True Consignment Sale

Riverchase United Methodist Church
Riverchase Tried-N-True (T-N-T) is a semiannual event sponsored by Riverchase Day School, a ministry of Riverchase United Methodist Church that seeks to support and enhance the programs of the school and the Riverchase UMC children’s programs, as well as other programs near and far that serve children in need.
Riverchase TNT offers gently used children's clothing (preemie through size 14), shoes, toys, sports gear, books, puzzles, baby gear, furniture and more. Cash and credit cards are accepted.
VIP shopping passes, limited to the first 50 people to purchase, are available online. This option is for anyone who wants more time to shop, can’t make the sale due to their work hours, or wants an earlier shopping experience. Passes are $12 per shopper and include a TNT Shopping Tote Bag.

Bluff Park United Methodist Church
This semi-annual “mommy and me” consignment sale is over 20 years old and serves as a significant source of funds for the Children’s Ministries of Bluff Park United Methodist Church and Bluff Park Preschool.
Once limited to gently used children’s clothing, toys, baby gear, costumes and more, Bargains On the Bluff now carries “play clothes,” which may have some imperfections but are priced accordingly. There is also a section for ladies' clothing, shoes and accessories.
Bargains On the Bluff yields a twice-a-year windfall for two important children’s programs at Bluff Park UMC. The church’s largest community outreach, vacation bible school (VBS), can be offered totally free to hundreds of children throughout the community while giving their parents a financial break.
The sale also provides funds for Bluff Park Preschool to fulfill classroom needs including furniture, supplies, toys, books, and whatever else is needed to offer high-quality education and childcare to area preschoolers.
TIPS SHOPPING FOR GENTLY USED CLOTHING
Look It Over: Check for rips, permanent stains, faded fabric, over-stretched elastic, broken zippers, and missing buttons or snaps. Buy used shoes only if the soles show almost no wear and the inside arch support is still flat and firm.
Size It Up: Consider buying one size up for fast-growing little ones, but guessing sizes very far into the future is risky. Sizing can vary from brand to brand, so bring along a current item of your child’s clothing for comparison.
